"BON BINI" means Welcome.
English

“Bon Bini” means welcome in Papiamentu, our local and social language. It is our pleasure to extend to you an invitation to visit Curaçao during our Culture, Cuisine and Heritage Experience 2008. This island wide event is organized to offer our visitors a true experience of Curaçao.

We are a nation of over 55 different nationalities and cultures, each with its own history, song, dance, music and cuisine that will captivate you and leave an indelible impression. Willemstad, the island’s capital city, sits among the ranks of the extraordinary Great Wall of China, the Taj Mahal and Vatican City on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

From August 15 to November 15, 2008 you will be able to explore our museums with discounted or free admissions to discover and learn about our history. You will be introduced to our multi-dimensional past through song, dance and rhythm while we pay homage to our ancestors who struggled for centuries for our freedom. You will taste the many different local dishes and international cuisines, all at special prices and prepared by a team of award winning and top ranked Curaçao chefs.

And make sure to save a little time for shopping, golfing, gambling, beaches and other attractions. Plus, don’t forget that Curaçao is located on the outer fringes of the hurricane belt – we average less than 22 inches of rain a year.

We invite you to come, discover and experience Curaçao.
To be eligible for discounts and free admissions, please make use of the discounts listed in this booklet.

We know that you will find that this island is indeed "Real and Different."
